EDCC met with the newly elected major for social policy in Chaina to present the project and discuss several issues. Several ideas for providing training to migrants had been discussed:
Ideas for providing the training course to the migrants
1.) The skilled migrants in care sector to be involved as volunteers and to help the migrants involved in care sector with less skills
2.) Municipality volunteer professional in health and care sector to provide their voluntary services in order to provide training material to migrants which are involved in car sector.
3.)To increase the inclusion of the migrants by inviting them to participate to the voluntary group of the Municipality of Chania.
EDCC will propose migrants which will participate in those training courses to receive recommendation on how to find a formal work and to receive an official certificate.
